Sometimes, grief comes unexpectedly
V eterinary students at Cornell
University in Ithaca, New York
have established a hot line for people mourning
the death of a DOG. This service is a part of their training. The hot line
is available Tuesdays through Thursdays, 6-9 PM EST. The number is
607-253-3932.

The students try to be empathetic and supportive,
but please remember they are not yet Vets so they cannot offer any medical
advice or opinions.
