The New Equitable Building
Built on the site of the old Equitable Building which was
destroyed by fire on January 9, 1912. It is a 36 story office
building, 540 feet above the street level, covering an
entire square block, the broad area being 49,000 square feet.
The building cost $11,500,000 and the land $14,000,000.
